Your expertise as a Supply Chain Specialist will be essential in evaluating supplier capabilities and enhancing supply chain efficiencies. This position may involve travel.
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate comprehensive assessments of supplier capabilities, ensuring effective management of timelines and logistics while overseeing the results of evaluations.
- Perform in-depth on-site evaluations of suppliers, concentrating on areas such as demand forecasting, integrated business planning, inventory management, procurement strategies, and supplier relations.
- Analyze supplier performance metrics related to financial and human resource operations.
- Pinpoint deficiencies and potential enhancements within the supplier's supply chain operations.
- Maintain a detailed record of supplier-related risks and improvement initiatives, monitor progress, and work collaboratively with colleagues to address challenges.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in Supply Chain and Operations within the Industrial Manufacturing sector.
- Proven background in Sales and Operations Planning or inventory management, along with at least 3 years of experience in team leadership.
- Familiarity with essential planning systems and tools, including ERP and MRP.
- Exceptional skills in relationship management, negotiation, and teamwork.
- Technical proficiency and adeptness in MS Office applications.
- Capability to align assessment results with organizational goals.
