We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team at Franco's Carpenter. As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for constructing, repairing, and installing structures and fixtures made of wood, wood substitutes, and other materials.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare layouts and designs for building projects, using measuring tools and software.
- Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials to create structures and fixtures.
- Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems.
- Fabricate and install cabinets, countertops, and other woodwork.
- Maintain and repair existing structures and fixtures, and renovate residential and commercial properties.
- 3 years of experience in carpentry or a related field.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in carpentry or a related field an asset.
- Ability to work at heights, in noisy and dusty environments, and outdoors.
- Physical stamina to lift heavy loads and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with tight deadlines.
