At MASO Recruit, we are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Practical Nurse (R.P.N.) to join our dedicated healthcare team in Markham, ON.
Job Summary:
We are looking for a licensed practical nurse with a passion for patient care to provide quality care to patients in long-term care facilities. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, 1-2 years of practical nursing experience, and be eligible for licensure as a practical nurse.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer medications and monitor patient progress
- Conduct specimen collection and ensure infection control
- Monitor nutritional intake and vital signs
- Assist in preparing patients for surgery
- Provide nursing services within the scope of practice
Work Environment:
The successful candidate will work in a physically demanding, fast-paced environment with a large caseload. They will be required to stand for extended periods and work flexible shifts, including day, evening, night, and weekend shifts.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- 1-2 years of practical nursing experience
- Eligible for licensure as a practical nurse
- CPR & First Aid certificates
- Criminal record check & TB test
- Own transportation
- Knowledge of Cantonese/Mandarin is an asset
What We Offer:
We offer a competitive salary of $28.00 to $35.00/hour (negotiable) and a full-time contract with 30-40 hours of work per week.
