We are looking for a Personal Support Worker to provide compassionate care and support to individuals in a long-term care environment.

This role is ideal for those who are dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for patients and thrive in a dynamic, supportive setting. If you possess the necessary qualifications and a genuine desire to assist others, we encourage you to consider this opportunity.

Location: Markham, ON
Hours: 30-40 hours per week

Qualifications:

  • Fluency in English
  • Completion of a 1-2 year College/CEGEP diploma
  • 1-2 years of relevant experience
  • Certification in CPR and Health Care Aide
  • Criminal record check and TB test required
  • Access to personal transportation

Work Environment: Long-Term Care Facility
Schedule: Flexible shifts available (day, evening, night, weekend, on-call)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing patient care and assistance
  • Ensuring proper sterilization and setup of equipment
  • Transporting patients and managing reports
  • Assisting with bathing, grooming, and feeding
  • Maintaining cleanliness of patient rooms and managing supplies

Work Conditions: The role is physically demanding, requiring standing and lifting of weights exceeding 45kg.

Note: Only candidates who are Canadian residents or possess valid work permits will be considered.
