Job Title: Uniformed Asset Protection Personnel

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Uniformed Asset Protection Personnel to join our team at Loblaw Companies Limited. As a key member of our store team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, responding to security alarms, and maintaining a safe and secure shopping environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional customer service and support to all internal and external customers
  • Respond to Gatekeeper alarms and receipt checks as required
  • Assess safety hazards and take proper procedures to ensure customer safety
  • Escalate any crisis or emergency situations in a timely manner
  • Maintain and submit daily, weekly, and monthly status reports

Requirements:

  • Experience within a retail environment preferred
  • Ability to foster partnerships with store teams
  • Exceptional customer service skills with a talent for building relationships
  • Professional, friendly, and approachable demeanor
  • Ability to remain calm in high-tension situations
  • Ability to walk or stand in the same position for long periods
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
  • First Aid and CPR certified is an asset
