Job Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced LPN to work in our rehabilitation setting. The successful candidate will have a strong clinical background and be familiar with the management of enteral feeds, indwelling catheters, and diabetic management. Experience with neurological patients or brain injury rehabilitation is an asset.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess and document patient needs
  • Participate in the formulation of a nursing diagnosis and treatment care plan
  • Implement treatment plans and interventions
  • Assist with activities of daily living
  • Promote and maintain a professional work environment
  • Attend in-services and clinical competency programs
  • Participate in quality management activities
Requirements:
  • Completion of an accredited practical nurse education program
  • Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Alberta (CLPNA)
  • Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP)
