Job Title: Early Childhood Educator

We are seeking a dedicated and caring Early Childhood Educator to join our team at Core Education & Fine Arts or CEFA Early Learning. As an Early Childhood Educator, you will play a vital role in providing a nurturing and engaging environment for young children to learn and grow.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the implementation of educational programs that promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children.
  • Support the daily activities of the childcare centre, including housekeeping and cooking duties.
  • Assist in maintaining daycare equipment and ensuring a safe and healthy environment for children.
  • Engage children in activities such as storytelling, teaching songs, and preparing crafts.
  • Guide and assist children in developing proper eating, dressing, and toilet habits.
  • Prepare snacks and arrange rooms or furniture for lunch and rest periods.
  • Submit written observations on children to early childhood educators or supervisors.
  • Attend staff meetings to discuss progress and problems of children.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience in childcare or a related field is an asset.
  • Criminal record check and immunization records are required.
  • Public transportation is available.
