Job Title: Senior Systems Software Developer

BlackBerry QNX is seeking a highly skilled Senior Systems Software Developer to join our team. As a key member of our Filesystem development team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing high-quality software components.

Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop file system features and enhancements
  • Perform performance optimizations and safety and security impact analysis
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure system reliability, security, and performance
  • Provide technical leadership for file system components and research and development
  • Develop and document software specifications and designs
  • Conduct reviews with technical peers to ensure design guidelines are achieved
  • Create and execute automated unit tests
  • Identify, analyze, and resolve complex software inadequacies
  • Provide project estimates for requirement, design, implementation, and test efforts
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering
  • Strong programming skills in C and/or C++
  • Experience with performance, memory, and post-mortem analysis
  • Knowledge of software analysis and design techniques
  • Experience with low-level assembly programming on ARM and/or x86
