We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Automotive Service Technician Apprentice to join our team at Jll's Services Ltd.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect and test mechanical units to identify faults and malfunctions, utilizing advanced diagnostic techniques and tools.
  • Adjust, repair, or replace parts and components of automotive systems, ensuring optimal performance and safety.
  • Repair or replace mechanical units or components, adhering to manufacturer specifications and industry standards.
  • Test and adjust repaired systems to ensure they meet manufacturer specifications, utilizing precision tools and equipment.
  • Estimate parts and labor costs to perform vehicle maintenance and repairs, providing accurate and transparent quotes to customers.
  • Perform scheduled maintenance services, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake pad replacements.
  • Test and adjust units to specifications, ensuring optimal performance and safety.
  • Advise customers on work performed and future repair requirements, providing exceptional customer service and building strong relationships.
  • Complete reports to record problems and work performed, maintaining accurate and detailed records.
  • Provide customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
Requirements
  • Registered Apprenticeship certificate in Automotive Service Technology.
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in the automotive service industry, or equivalent experience.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Steel-toed safety boots and basic hand tools.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a strong attention to detail and manual dexterity.
  • Flexibility to work overtime as required, with a strong commitment to customer satisfaction.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Automotive Service Technician Trade Certification.
  • Tire, wheel, and rim mechanic certification.
  • Automotive Service Technician (Fuel and Electrical Systems) Trade Certification.
  • Motor Vehicle Repairer (Service Station Mechanic) Trade Certification.
  • HVAC Certificate.
  • Motor Vehicle Inspector Certificate.
  • First Aid Certificate.
  • Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate.
Working Conditions
