About the Role

Vancouver Coastal Health is seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our Community Health team in North Vancouver. As a LPN, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive care to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care, including assessments, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care plans
  • Collaborate with the Registered Nurse (RN) in direct care activities, such as assessing, planning, implementing, evaluating, and documenting client care
  • Support clients and families to achieve and maintain optimal health
  • Work closely with the RN in direct care activities, such as assessing, planning, implementing, evaluating, and documenting client care
Requirements
  • Graduation from a recognized program for Practical Nurses
  • Current practicing registration as a Licensed Practical Nurse with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM)
  • Three (3) years recent experience working as a Licensed Practical Nurse providing care in the community or acute (medical/surgical/palliative, simple wound care) care setting or an equivalent combination of training, education, and experience
