Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Kitchen Helper to join our team at Yammy Sushi. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment, receiving and storing supplies, and assisting with food preparation tasks.

Responsibilities
  • Clean and sanitize kitchen areas, including work surfaces, cupboards, and storage areas.
  • Receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, and other storage areas.
  • Remove kitchen garbage and trash, and maintain a clean and hygienic environment.
  • Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors to ensure a safe and clean working environment.
  • Assist with food preparation tasks, including washing, peeling, and cutting vegetables and fruit.
Requirements
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Will train on the job.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain a clean and organized workspace.
Working Conditions
  • Permanent position.
  • English language required.
  • 14 to 40 hours per week.
