Key Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service at the checkouts, ensuring a high level of satisfaction and loyalty.
- Accurately record customer transactions in electronic cash registers and maintain a clean and organized checkout area.
- Replenish merchandise around the checkout area to ensure a seamless shopping experience.
- Ensure health and safety policies and guidelines are followed, maintaining a safe and secure environment for customers and colleagues.
- Follow loss prevention best practices to minimize shrinkage and protect company assets.
- Comply with all policies and procedures when selling tobacco and lottery products.
Requirements
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to interact with customers and colleagues.
- Attention to detail to ensure accurate transactions and maintain a clean store environment.
- Strong customer service skills to provide a positive shopping experience.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve sales goals and maintain store standards.
Physical Demands
The physical demands of this role include standing and/or walking, bending, twisting, and squatting. You will also be required to lift and/or move up to 18 kg (40 lbs) and perform tasks involving firm grasping and repetitive hand motions.
Keyholder Premium (If Applicable)
As a keyholder, you will be responsible for opening and closing the store, ensuring all areas are tidy, and maintaining security protocols.
