Laboratory Assistant

At Dynacare, we're seeking a skilled Laboratory Assistant to join our team. As a Laboratory Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of our laboratory services.
Key Responsibilities:- Process blood samples and other laboratory specimens accurately and efficiently
- Enter requisitions and results in a timely manner
- Provide excellent customer service to patients and colleagues
- Manage anxious patients through the sample obtaining process with empathy and care
- Prioritize and self-manage within a deadline-oriented environment
- Ensure all confidential information is maintained in a secure fashion
- Secondary School diploma and Laboratory Assistant training program or Medical Lab Assistance course with phlebotomy specialization
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail
- Proficiency in English, both written and verbal
