About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Metal Fabricator to join our team at ARZ Contracting Ltd. as a key member of our fabrication department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Material Planning: Determine the required materials for projects, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.
  • Layout and Planning: Create accurate layouts and plans for metal fabrication, taking into account efficiency and productivity.
  • Task Sequencing: Plan the sequence of tasks to optimize metal cutting and minimize waste.
  • Engineering Drawings: Study and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints to determine material requirements.
  • Assembly and Fitting: Assemble and fit plates and sections to form structures, ensuring precise fit and finish.
  • Machining and Welding: Set up and operate heavy-duty metal-working machines, and weld or bolt sections together as required.
  • Pattern and Template Creation: Construct patterns and templates for metal fabrication, ensuring accuracy and precision.
  • Installation and Rigging: Install fabricated components in final products, and rig, hoist, and move materials to storage areas or within the worksite.
Requirements
  • Availability: Be available for shift or on-call work, and willing to relocate for this position.
  • Language: Fluency in English is required.
  • Work Hours: 32 to 40 hours per week.
