Job Summary

Scotiabank is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our Global Fraud Authentication team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for developing and implementing innovative solutions to prevent and detect fraud, ensuring the integrity of our systems and processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive fraud strategy, aligned with Scotiabank's business objectives and risk appetite.
  • Lead a team of experts in fraud prevention, detection, and mitigation, providing guidance and support to ensure the delivery of high-quality results.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including technology, business, and risk, to identify and address fraud-related risks and opportunities.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in fraud prevention and detection, ensuring Scotiabank remains at the forefront of industry best practices.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including business partners, technology vendors, and regulatory bodies.
  • Manage and oversee the implementation of fraud prevention and detection solutions, ensuring timely and effective delivery.
  • Provide strategic guidance and support to business leaders, ensuring they are informed and equipped to make informed decisions related to fraud risk.
  • Develop and maintain a culture of continuous learning and improvement, ensuring the team remains up-to-date with the latest techniques and technologies.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in fraud prevention and detection, with a strong understanding of industry best practices and emerging trends.
  • Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a high-performing team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address complex fraud-related issues.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Strong business acumen, with a deep understanding of Scotiabank's business objectives and risk appetite.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a strong focus on delivering results and meeting deadlines.
