We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team at Jot Flooring & Renovations Inc. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of workmanship in the installation of flooring and renovation projects.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare layouts and designs in accordance with building codes and regulations
- Measure, cut, shape, and assemble materials for various construction projects
- Build and install foundations, floor beams, and roof systems
- Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, and other fixtures
- Supervise and coordinate the work of other team members
- Estimate costs and materials for projects
- Maintain and repair residential and commercial properties
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- Commercial, industrial, and residential work experience
- Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
