About the Role

The Store Manager is a key leadership position within LensCrafters, responsible for driving business growth and delivering exceptional customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service Excellence: Ensure the LensCrafters team provides unparalleled customer service, meeting and exceeding customer expectations.
  • Team Development: Provide training and coaching to the team, leveraging company-provided programs to enhance skills and knowledge.
  • Performance Analysis: Analyze reporting data to create and implement action plans to improve store key performance indicators (KPIs), including Net Promoter Score, sales to plan, customer count, and others.
  • Talent Acquisition: Attract and hire a highly engaged team to ensure the store has the right people in the right place at the right time.
  • Doctor Partnership: Partner with the Doctor of Optometry to elevate the customer and patient experience, driving store KPIs and improving overall business performance.
  • Store Operations: Take pride in the store and guide the team to execute all operational, inventory, and visual tasks to guidelines flawlessly, ensuring the best customer and patient experience.
  • Safety and Compliance: Ensure all company-approved safety programs are implemented and maintained consistently, maintaining a safe and enjoyable working environment.
Requirements
  • Education: High school graduate or equivalent.
  • Experience: 4+ years of management/supervisory experience.
  • Knowledge: Comprehensive knowledge of operations, processes, and business implications.
  • Skills: Strong influencing and negotiating skills, team building and management skills, knowledge of current optical theory and merchandise, strong communication and listening skills, and basic math skills.
  • Preferred Qualifications: College degree or equivalent, state licensure (if applicable) and/or ABO Certification in non-licensed states, LensCrafters Final Inspector Certification, LensCrafters Quality, Fitting, and Adjusting Program, previous experience in customer service and retail, knowledge of current store merchandise, and high-level business acumen.
