Job Summary:

We are seeking a Senior Retail Store Associate to join our team, responsible for providing exceptional customer service, processing transactions, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner
  • Process transactions, handle cash, credit card payments, and operate a point-of-sale system
  • Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including receiving and stocking merchandise, and rotating products on shelves
  • Work effectively as part of a team, supporting colleagues and contributing to a positive and inclusive work environment
  • Participate in ongoing training and development, staying up-to-date on product knowledge and company policies
  • Perform other duties as assigned, including opening and closing procedures, and maintaining store security

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education an asset
  • Previous retail experience, preferably in a customer-facing role
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction
  • Physical ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds, and stand for long periods
  • Availability to work a variety of shifts, including mornings, afternoons, and evenings
