About the Role:
As a Registered Nurse with Alberta Health Services, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and promoting health outcomes in a dynamic and supportive environment. Your expertise will be utilized to assess, coordinate, and deliver evidence-based care to patients across the lifespan, while collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to achieve optimal health outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Utilize nursing processes, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills to provide safe and effective patient care.
- Develop, implement, and evaluate client care plans in collaboration with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Assess, coordinate, and supervise the provision of health services and healthcare resources to ensure seamless care delivery.
- Participate in ongoing professional development, including education programs, research, and continuous quality activities, to maintain and enhance clinical expertise.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to achieve optimal health outcomes and promote a culture of safety and quality.
Requirements:
- Completion of an accredited nursing education program.
- Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CRNA).
- Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP) certification.
- Additional education courses related to rural nursing are preferred.
- At least one to two years of relevant nursing experience is desired.
