We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Corporate Reputation Communications Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Corporate Reputation Team, you will be responsible for researching, writing, and pitching stories to media outlets, bloggers, podcasters, influencers, and creators. You will also monitor media coverage, develop reports, and provide support on other tasks as required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Daily media monitoring for clients across various sectors
  • Reading industry news and sharing key pieces with the team
  • Crafting compelling pitches to secure media coverage
  • Following up on pitches to secure coverage and spokesperson interviews
  • Supporting the coordination of interviews and briefing materials for spokespersons
  • Working with the team to suggest story angles for client campaigns
  • Creating media reports to showcase secured coverage
  • Identifying new earned targets
  • Supporting new business development with research and internal communications initiatives

Requirements:

  • Perfectly bilingual in French and English
  • Bachelor's degree or Graduate degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or Marketing (preferred but not essential)
  • Strong writing and editing skills, with the ability to learn industry-specific language
  • Excellent understanding of social media platforms and their use by media
  • Excellent critical thinking and teamwork skills
  • Intermediate level PC skills (MS Office, Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and TEAMS)
  • Quick learner, with exceptional time management skills
  • Strong problem-solving ability, attention to detail, and a well-defined work ethic
