Job Summary

Celeros Flow Technology is seeking a highly skilled Application Engineer to join our team. As an Application Engineer, you will play a critical role in assisting customers to identify and verify their requirements and specifications, and prepare competitive costings and quotations that are both technically and commercially accurate.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Liaise with Sales to understand customer requirements and specifications, including scope and timing.
  2. Review RFP documents to ensure contractual requirements are adequately defined and determine the company's capability to meet specified requirements.
  3. Prepare and submit techno-commercial offers to Sales as per the offer submission schedule.
  4. Review and evaluate detailed technical specifications for packaged equipment, extract applicable customer requirements, and translate/communicate the same to sub-contractors, sub-vendors, and internal stakeholders.
  5. Obtain quotations for relevant bought-in equipment in accordance with applicable Supply Chain policies and procedures.
  6. Perform technical and commercial evaluations of sub-suppliers' quotations to ensure compliance with customer requirements/specifications.
  7. Develop and submit detailed proposals to customers in accordance with applicable Tendering Policies and Procedures.
  8. Ensure CPQ tender data and tendering front log are accurately completed and actively managed.
  9. Provide ongoing technical and commercial clarifications as requested by customers and internal stakeholders to support successful order placement.
  10. Support regional tendering and sales teams for win order strategies across product lines to ensure all activities occur on time and with high quality from proposal receipt to handover.
Requirements
  1. A bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering.
  2. 3-5 years of related experience.
  3. Ability to work independently with minimal guidance.
  4. Good knowledge and experience in reviewing highly detailed specifications and writing comprehensive and accurate bids.
  5. Experience in Rotating Equipment/Centrifugal Pumps.
  6. Experience in the oil & gas / power & energy / industrial market.
  7. Proficiency in Microsoft packages, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, as well as SAP and other technical applications.
