Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Housekeeping Team Member to join our team at Tata Steel Schefferville. As a Housekeeping Team Member, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and tidiness of guest rooms, dorms, and laundry facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain Cleanliness and Tidiness: Ensure that all areas of the guest rooms, dorms, and laundry facilities are clean and tidy, including dusting, mopping, vacuuming, and sweeping.
  • Provide Excellent Customer Service: Treat all clients with respect and dignity, promoting a positive and welcoming environment.
  • Operate Cleaning Equipment: Use cleaning equipment and materials safely and effectively, following standard procedures and health and safety standards.
  • Report Maintenance Needs: Identify and report any maintenance needs or repairs required for cleaning equipment or facilities.
  • Participate in Staff Meetings and Training: Attend staff meetings and participate in training activities to stay up-to-date on company policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Experience: One year of experience in a housekeeping or related role preferred.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, carrying, and bending, with a high level of agility and dexterity.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and clients.
