Job Summary

This Health and Safety Specialist role is responsible for the planning, implementation, and monitoring of workplace health and safety programs. The successful candidate will perform safety inspections and audits to identify opportunities for improvement and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement comprehensive health and safety training programs to educate employees on safe work practices and procedures.
  • Analyze health and safety data to identify trends and areas for improvement, and develop action plans to address these issues.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement safety initiatives and programs.
  • Provide guidance and support to employees on health and safety policies and procedures.
  • Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and maintain accurate records of health and safety training, inspections, and audits.
Requirements

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in health and safety, with experience in developing and implementing safety programs and conducting safety inspections and audits. The successful candidate will also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with employees at all levels of the organization.

Pay Range: $54-$68 per hour, depending on experience.
