As the Art Director at BKOM Studios, you will be responsible for bringing artistic vision to life across all artistic disciplines. This role requires a proven ability to articulate artistic approaches in a collaborative context, while challenging the way games are created.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain the visual identity of products;
- Create and implement visual style guides;
- Collaborate with creative, technology, and production teams to achieve key milestones;
- Plan the needs of the art department, focusing on product quality;
- Participate in the artistic recruitment process;
- Maintain a balance between technical and artistic requirements;
- Plan and supervise artistic teams;
- Provide artistic leadership to drive the overall vision of the project;
- Act as a mentor to the artistic team;
- Respect BKOM Studios' confidentiality and IT security policies when using shared resources;
- Perform any other related duties.
- More than 5 years of leadership experience in art direction for AA and/or AAA games;
- A minimum of 10 years' experience in the video game industry;
- In-depth knowledge of all artistic disciplines, including concept, character, animation, environment, visual effects, user interface, lighting, shading, and rendering;
- Innovative skills and excellent understanding of the creative process;
- Portfolio of personal and professional artistic achievements;
- Experience in creating original intellectual property for video games;
- Experience of working with game engines;
- Excellent communication skills and ability to visualize and communicate ideas;
- Ability to contribute directly to artistic creation through concrete examples;
- Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills.
