Job Overview

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Yard Coordinator to join our team at Techo-Bloc's Depot in Vaughan. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient flow of goods and materials within our warehouse.

Responsibilities

* Coordinate the implementation of all procedures and processes per Techo-Bloc's policies and requirements
* Act as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries and internal/external business partners
* Supervise the work of Forklift Operators to ensure safe and efficient operation
* Verify that all documentation related to shipments is complete and compliant with company procedures
* Assist Forklift Operators in preparing orders and loading trucks
* Unload Techo-Bloc transports and store inventory in designated areas
* Conduct inventory counts as required
* Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work environment
* Ensure a safe working environment and adherence to all regulations

Requirements

* Valid forklift certification (counter balance)
* Experience operating a forklift in an outdoor yard environment
* Excellent communication and leadership skills
* Strong organizational skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
* Experience with inventory counts is an asset
* Proficiency with computer systems

Physical Demands

This is a physically demanding role that requires frequent lifting and/or moving of up to 50 pounds (23kg). Manual dexterity, teamwork, hand-eye coordination, and a combination of sitting, standing, and walking are required.
