We're seeking a seasoned tax professional to join our team as a Director, International Taxation. This role will be responsible for providing expert advice on international income tax matters, driving tax planning and risk assessment, and collaborating with stakeholders across CIBC.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead and manage tax planning matters for international cross-border transactions
- Identify and analyze international tax considerations of proposed transactions, assess and quantify risks
- Develop relationships and partnerships with stakeholders at all levels within CIBC to effectively manage tax services
- Stay up-to-date with tax legislative and administrative developments in international taxation and inform relevant stakeholders
- CPA designation or Bachelor of Laws degree
- At least 5 years of tax experience
- Completed CPA In-depth International Tax course or Master of Taxation
