Patient Care Coordinator

We are seeking a highly skilled Patient Care Coordinator to join our team at 61065 Newfoundland and Labrador Inc. As a Patient Care Coordinator, you will play a vital role in coordinating the movement of patients through the healthcare system, ensuring that quality nursing care is provided, and maintaining inventory of medical supplies and equipment.
Key Responsibilities:- Coordinate patient flow and resource utilization to ensure efficient use of healthcare resources.
- Employ creative problem-solving skills to identify opportunities for process improvement in bed assignment, transfer, and patient care.
- Ensure that administrative procedures are followed and quality nursing care is provided to patients.
- Maintain inventory of medical supplies and equipment, and assist in the establishment of unit policies and procedures.
- Set up and coordinate nursing services in conjunction with other health services.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a healthcare setting.
- Ability to distinguish between colours, attention to detail, and manual dexterity.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, and ability to work under pressure.
- Valid driver's licence and ability to relocate for this position.
