Key Responsibilities

Train and Develop Staff

Train seed cutting techniques to farm labourers and assist in the development and implementation of farm safety and bio-security procedures.

Manage Financial and Production Records

Maintain accurate financial and production records, including crop yields, expenses, and labour hours.

Coordinate and Supervise Farm Workers

Co-ordinate and supervise the work of general farm workers and harvesting labourers, ensuring timely completion of tasks and optimal crop quality.

Maintain Quality Control and Production Records

Maintain quality control and production records, including crop yields, quality, and any issues encountered.

Supervise Crop-Related Operations

Supervise and oversee growing and other crop-related operations, ensuring optimal crop yields and quality.

Maintain Work Records and Logs

Maintain accurate work records and logs, including labour hours, tasks completed, and any issues encountered.

Hire and Train Staff

Hire and train staff as needed, ensuring a skilled and experienced team to support farm operations.

Operate and Maintain Farm Machinery and Equipment

Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.

Requirements
  • Education

Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.

Experience

1 year to less than 2 years of experience in farm operations or a related field.

Language

Fluent in English.

Work Hours

40 hours per week.
