About the Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Radiology Specialist to join our team at South Shore Regional Hospital in Bridgewater, Nova Scotia. As a Diagnostic Imaging Physician, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality diagnostic imaging services to our patients.

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing diagnostic imaging services, including CT, MRI, ultrasound, x-ray, mammography, and nuclear medicine
  • Performing various image-guided procedures
  • Ensuring professional responsibilities and quality of practice, as well as operating within the medical staff Bylaws of Nova Scotia Health
  • Providing hospital and call support as required
  • Contributing to and participating in other administrative responsibilities as assigned
Expected Hours

This is a full-time position with on-call requirements.

Qualifications

Eligible for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Nova Scotia (CPSNS) with a preference for a full license

Certification with the Canadian Medical Protective Association (CMPA)

Eligible for certification by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (FRCSC)
