Job Title: Early Childhood Educator

We are seeking a qualified Early Childhood Educator to join our team at Little Beginners Child Care Centre Ltd.

Job Summary:

The Early Childhood Educator will be responsible for creating a safe and nurturing environment that promotes the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with young children and a commitment to providing high-quality care and education.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Bathe, diaper, and feed infants and toddlers
  • Assist early childhood educators in carrying out programs that promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children
  • Assist early childhood educators or supervisors in keeping records
  • Engage children in activities by telling stories, teaching songs, and preparing crafts
  • Prepare snacks and arrange rooms or furniture for lunch and rest periods
  • Submit written observations on children to early childhood educators or supervisors
  • Plan and maintain an environment that protects the health, security, and well-being of children
Requirements:
  • Child development assistant (ECE level 1)
  • Attention to detail
  • Combination of sitting, standing, walking
  • Bending, crouching, kneeling
  • Flexibility
  • Team player
Work Environment:

The Early Childhood Educator will work in a child care centre setting, with a team of experienced educators and support staff. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, and will be committed to providing high-quality care and education to children.
