A challenging opportunity has arisen for a skilled Project Engineer/Senior Engineer to join our team at ABB Schweiz AG. As a key member of our global team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality projects that meet the needs of our clients.
Key Responsibilities:- Collaborate with project managers and clients to understand their requirements and iterate on their needs.
- Lead a multidisciplinary project team using Agile methodology, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality results.
- Develop and manage project schedules, including short-term planning and follow-up.
- Assist the project manager in strategic and execution planning, as well as project cost management.
- Oversee system design and conformity, monitor system performance, and manage technical risks.
- Present project updates and results to clients and team members in English and French.
- Develop and improve our systems engineering tools, including Model-based Systems Engineering.
- Bachelor's degree in science or engineering, or equivalent with 8 years of experience as a system leader or senior system engineer.
- Proven experience in infrared optical instrumentation development for space missions or remote sensing.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills, with the ability to deliver clear and concise project documentation.
- Proficiency in Magic Draw, JIRA, Windchill, MS-Project, and Office suite.
- Bilingual English-French (spoken and written).
