  • Monitor and record vital signs, symptoms, and conditions of residents, and take appropriate action to address any concerns.
  • Organize and direct functions related to the provision of care to residents, including coordinating with other healthcare professionals as needed.
  • Assist in the management of nursing and personal care staff, providing guidance and support to ensure seamless care delivery.
  • Develop and implement training programs for new staff, focusing on best practices and resident-centered care.
  • Requirements
    • Current certificate of competence from the College of Nurses of Ontario.
    • Bilingual in English and French is an asset.
    • Registration/eligible for registration with the Registered Practical Nurses Association of Ontario.
    • Previous experience in long-term care is an asset, with comprehensive knowledge of duties.
    • Excellent communication and comprehension skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
    • Developed problem-solving skills to address complex care situations.
