Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Actuarial Analyst to join our Commercial Insurance Pricing team at Definity. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing actuarial pricing models, analyzing data, and communicating complex concepts to stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain actuarial pricing models and algorithms to ensure accurate and efficient pricing of commercial insurance products.
  • Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights that inform pricing decisions.
  • Communicate complex actuarial concepts and recommendations to stakeholders, including senior leadership, underwriters, and other business partners.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement pricing strategies that meet business objectives.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging risks to ensure our pricing models remain accurate and effective.
Requirements
  • University degree in Actuarial Sciences, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
  • Completion of a minimum of 3 to 5 CAS exams.
  • 2 to 5 years of experience in P&C actuarial pricing, with a strong understanding of commercial insurance products and pricing models.
  • Strong programming skills in languages such as SAS, Python, R, or Excel VBA.
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
