Job Title: Grounds Maintenance Worker

We are seeking a skilled Grounds Maintenance Worker to join our team at G.M.A. Catering LTD.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the grounds of our facilities, ensuring they are clean, safe, and visually appealing. This includes tasks such as weeding, pruning, and trimming trees and plants, cutting grass, raking and collecting refuse, and removing litter and garbage.

Responsibilities:
  • Weed, prune, and trim trees and plants to maintain a clean and tidy appearance.
  • Cut grass to ensure a well-manicured lawn.
  • Rake and collect refuse to keep the grounds free of debris.
  • Remove litter and garbage to maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Cart and spread topsoil and other materials as needed.
  • Apply fertilizers to promote healthy plant growth.
  • Repair and maintain equipment to ensure it is in good working condition.
  • Water and tend to plants, lawns, and/or gardens to ensure they receive adequate care.
  • Operate and maintain landscape maintenance equipment to perform tasks efficiently.
Requirements:
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Physical ability to perform manual labor tasks.
  • Availability to work 40 hours per week.
  • Fluency in English.
