Job Title: Early Childhood Educator

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Childhood Educator to join our team at KIDDOS ON THE GO LTD.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing child-care programs that support and promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children. This includes storytelling, supervising staff, training, and assisting early childhood educators in carrying out programs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement child-care programs that support and promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children.
  • Supervise staff, trainees, or volunteers and assist early childhood educators in carrying out programs.
  • Lead activities by telling or reading stories, teaching songs, and taking children to local points of interest.
  • Assist early childhood educators or supervisors in keeping records and observing children for signs of potential learning or behavioral problems.
  • Establish guidelines for behavior and attend staff meetings to discuss progress and problems of children.
  • Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with co-workers and community service providers working with children.
  • Plan and maintain an environment that protects the health, security, and well-being of children.
Requirements:
  • Child development supervisor (ECE level 3) certification.
  • Emergency child care first aid and CPR certification.
  • First Aid Certificate.
  • CPR Certificate.
  • Criminal record check and vulnerable sector check.
  • Punctuality, dependability, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral and written communication, flexibility, interpersonal awareness, judgement, reliability, team player, values and ethics, creativity, honesty, and ability to multitask.
Experience:
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
