About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Designer to join our team at Electronic Arts. As a Quality Designer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the highest quality player experience across our games.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement quality strategies to improve the overall player experience.
  • Collaborate with senior members of the development, production, and design teams to identify and address quality issues.
  • Proactively propose and provide solutions to quality problems using an experimental mindset.
  • Measure the impact of evolving quality strategies using change control processes.
  • Research, analyze, and compile data points into cohesive and consumable summaries to demonstrate impact on overall quality.
  • Propose tactical solutions to achieve strategic goals and promote a "Player First" approach.
  • Mentor peers and assist with growing their knowledge.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of applicable work experience in software/game development.
  • In-depth knowledge of software/game development methodologies, including agile and waterfall.
  • Experience working with medium-to-large-scale teams and distributed peers.
  • Experience with bug prevention and containment strategies.
  • Defect and task tracking tool experience (JIRA, DevTrack, TestRail, or Hansoft).
  • Game engine experience a plus.
  • Perforce or other collaboration tool experience a plus.
  • Experience working within a continuous delivery or continuous deployment model.
