OVERVIEW

Reporting to the Maintenance General Foreman, this role centers on enhancing the reliability of electrical systems while optimizing maintenance expenditures.

The Electrical Maintenance Supervisor collaborates with a team of Maintenance Leaders, including Planners, Reliability Engineers, and Electricians, to achieve outlined objectives.

Methods include adherence to reliability practices such as preventive and predictive inspections, spare parts management, and optimized planning, scheduling, and execution routines.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Oversee and prioritize Electrical Maintenance Work Order backlog in CMMS (SAP)
  • Develop work procedures for corrective and preventive/predictive maintenance tasks
  • Identify essential equipment spares, materials, and component requirements
  • Assist in preparing work packages for maintenance tasks during production interruptions
  • Collaborate with Maintenance, Operations, and Engineering for equipment repairs and enhancements
  • Support the creation of electrical designs in line with established codes and standards
  • Supervise maintenance trades and contractors during production downtimes for equipment repairs and onsite activities
  • Diagnose and resolve recurring electrical failures
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Electrical Technologist OR Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering OR Certified Electrician
  • Understanding of electrical building services, power distribution systems, and electrical power components
  • Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written)
  • Strong time management abilities and adaptability to changing priorities
  • Capacity to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders
  • Ability to lead a team of electricians
