About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Farm Laborer to join our team at Greatland Farms LTD.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clear fields of wood and stones to ensure a safe working environment
  • Clean and maintain greenhouses to promote healthy crop growth
  • Mix and apply fertilizers to optimize crop yields
  • Plant, cultivate, and irrigate crops to ensure optimal growth and development
  • Remove weeds and other unwanted vegetation to prevent competition for resources
  • Fertilize and spray crops to promote healthy growth and prevent pests and diseases
  • Harvest crops at the optimal time to ensure maximum quality and yield
  • Assist in the development and implementation of farm safety and bio-security procedures to protect employees and the environment
  • Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment to ensure efficient and safe operation
  • Supervise and coordinate the work of general farm workers and harvesting laborers to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and effectively
  • Hire and train staff to ensure a skilled and motivated team
  • Perform general farm duties as required to ensure the smooth operation of the farm
  • Hand harvest vegetables and other crops to ensure optimal quality and yield
  • Seed cutting and other tasks as required to ensure the health and productivity of the farm
