About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Development Professional to join our Institutional Securities Technology (IST) team at ALLTECH CONSULTING SVC INC. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and overseeing the overall technology strategy and bespoke technology solutions to drive and enable the institutional businesses and enterprise-wide functions.

Our team develops front-office technology, providing ample opportunities to learn by interacting with business users, desk strategists, market risk managers, and other stakeholders within the Firm. We are a global financial services firm and a market leader in investment banking, securities, investment management, and wealth management services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement technology solutions to drive institutional businesses and enterprise-wide functions.
  • Collaborate with business users, desk strategists, market risk managers, and other stakeholders to understand business requirements and develop solutions.
  • Design, develop, and test software applications using Java, C++, C#, Python, or Scala.
  • Work with functional languages and contribute to the development of the async-based calculation graph platform and bitemporal data store.
  • Participate in code reviews and ensure high-quality code is delivered.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to recommend innovative solutions.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical or related field.
  • Solid experience using at least one object-oriented programming language: Java, C++, C#, Python.
  • Computer science fundamentals (client/server, multi-threading, memory management).
  • Experience in functional languages.
  • Unix/Linux.
