CB Canada is seeking a skilled Business Systems Analyst to support our client in the Consulting Sector.
Role Overview
The position focuses on the Information Technology team, particularly on the transformation of Access Control systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with subject matter experts across various business areas (Tax, Audit, Advisory, etc.) to analyze their existing applications and environments.
- Define detailed requirements and governance for the future state of the systems.
- Engage with key stakeholders from all business functions to ensure alignment of technology solutions with overall business strategies.
- Utilize various techniques such as workshops, interviews, and shadowing to gain a comprehensive understanding of the current business landscape.
- Collect requirements from business units and translate them into user stories, use cases, and both functional and non-functional requirements for technical teams.
- Apply informed knowledge of business functions to identify and resolve issues while leveraging opportunities for improvement.
- Support one or more complex business processes effectively.
- Assist in defining and documenting governance policies.
- Act as a liaison between the business community and the IT organization to deliver technical solutions that meet user needs.
Essential Skills
- Proven experience with technology-related projects, particularly in access control and identity management.
- Strong ability to collaborate with stakeholders to gather and synthesize detailed requirements from multiple teams into cohesive directives that guide IT activities.
