We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Resource Nurse to join our team at Pan Am Clinic. As a Clinical Resource Nurse, you will play a key role in providing clinical expertise to nurses and coordinating patient care within the healthcare team.
Key Responsibilities- Provide clinical expertise to nurses and promote an interprofessional patient-centered approach to care based on best practice.
- Assume a leadership role in coordinating patient care within the healthcare team and ensuring quality patient care outcomes.
- Collaborate with the Program Team Manager to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures.
- Provide education and training to nurses and other healthcare professionals on clinical best practices.
- Minimum two (2) years recent Nursing experience in a mother-baby combined care setting required.
- Charge Nurse experience required.
- Bachelor of Nursing degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
- Current CRNM registration required.
- Active participation in professional associations e.g. Association of Registered Nurses of Manitoba (ARNM) preferred.
- Scope of practice as documented in the Regulated Health Professions Act (RHPA).
- Leadership skills and experience in a clinical setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
