Chef Job Description

The Lot Lounge is seeking a skilled and experienced Chef to join our team. As a Chef, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods, as well as managing kitchen operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Co-ordinate special events and determine the size of food portions and costs
  • Plan menus and estimate food requirements for their realization
  • Prepare and cook special meals for patients as instructed by dietitian or chef
  • Inspect kitchens and food service areas and clean kitchen and work areas
  • Organize buffets and banquets and manage kitchen operations
Requirements:
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
