As a Senior Tax Manager at Chemtrade, you will play a critical role in shaping the company's tax strategy and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement tax planning strategies to minimize tax liabilities and optimize cash flow.
- Manage and maintain accurate and up-to-date tax records, including financial statements and tax returns.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, accounting, and legal, to ensure tax compliance and minimize risk.
- Stay up-to-date with changes in tax laws and regulations, and provide guidance to the organization on tax implications.
- Develop and maintain relationships with tax authorities and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and resolution of tax-related issues.
- Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation or equivalent.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in tax management, preferably in a senior role.
- Strong knowledge of tax laws and regulations, including income tax, sales tax, and property tax.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex tax data and provide recommendations.
