Evening Cleaning Specialist

As a member of our dedicated housekeeping team, your efforts will ensure that guests are impressed by the condition of our public areas, including the lobby, restrooms, and corridors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Attention to Detail: Regularly patrol the designated areas during your shift to maintain cleanliness and order. This includes monitoring elevators, guestroom landings, the lobby, and vending areas. Report any items that are missing or require maintenance.
  • Organizational Skills: Ensure that all assigned areas are well-stocked, tidy, and presentable.
  • Team Collaboration: Support your colleagues and guests by assisting with various tasks, including heavier lifting when necessary.
  • Guest Interaction: Greet all guests warmly and assist them as needed, fostering a welcoming atmosphere.
  • Safety and Security: Adhere to established safety and security protocols. Be proactive in identifying potential issues and communicate with management as necessary.

Requirements:

To excel in this position, you should possess basic English communication skills. Previous experience in housekeeping is advantageous. You will be required to operate cleaning equipment such as vacuums, carpet cleaners, and floor buffers, as well as handle cleaning chemicals safely. This role involves physical labor, including lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling objects weighing up to 100 pounds occasionally, 50 pounds frequently, and 20 pounds constantly. You must be able to stand for extended periods and work in varying temperatures and noise levels.
