Job Summary

As a Warehouse Associate at EMCO Corporation, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient and accurate processing of customer orders. Your attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment will be essential in meeting the demands of our customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process customer orders by picking, packing, and shipping products in a timely and accurate manner
  • Count, verify, and receive incoming vendor material and customer returns
  • Load and unload trucks, operate forklifts, and other material handling equipment
  • Identify and resolve any discrepancies or damaged material
  • Notify the team of any inventory discrepancies or damaged/defective material
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment by removing empty cartons, metal banding, pallets, and other debris

Requirements

  • Grade 12 diploma or equivalent; college and/or university degree an asset
  • A minimum of 1 year of warehouse experience
  • Outstanding customer service and verbal communication skills
  • Able to develop comprehensive product knowledge
  • Ability to learn to safely operate a forklift and other material handling equipment
  • Possess a high level of attention to detail and accurately process orders

Preferred Skills

  • Previous experience with or knowledge of plumbing and building products sold at the Profit Centre
  • Experience using Trend, Eclipse, Word, Excel, and Outlook
