Position Overview

The role of a Stock Clerk involves essential responsibilities in maintaining the flow of goods within a retail environment. This position is vital for ensuring that products are readily available for customers.

Educational Requirements
  • Completion of secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
Work Environment
  • Relocation expenses will be covered by the employer.
Key Responsibilities
  • Unpack and organize products received at the store, ensuring accurate counting, weighing, or sorting of items.
  • Maintain an up-to-date computerized inventory system.
  • Place orders for stock replenishment as needed.
  • Document all incoming stock accurately.
  • Organize and stock shelves and display areas effectively.
  • Ensure that stock is kept clean and orderly.
  • Price items using stamps or stickers in accordance with the price list.
  • Perform general cleaning tasks, including sweeping and mopping floors.
  • Operate the cash register as required.
  • Deliver excellent customer service to enhance the shopping experience.
Experience and Work Conditions
  • No prior experience is necessary; training will be provided.
  • Employment duration is permanent.
  • Work language is English.
  • Standard working hours are 40 hours per week.
