Job Summary:

SSR Mining is seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team at the Seabee Gold Operation in northern Saskatchewan. As a key member of our mining team, you will be responsible for operating heavy equipment, including 30- and 40-ton trucks, and ensuring the safe transportation of ore and waste rock.

About the Role:

  • Operate heavy equipment, including 30- and 40-ton trucks, and 2, 4, 6, and 8-yard scoops.
  • Ensure the safe transportation of ore and waste rock.
  • Perform various duties related to production and development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate heavy equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Conduct regular maintenance and inspections on equipment.
  • Collaborate with other team members to achieve production goals.

Requirements:

  • Minimum two years' experience working in a hard rock underground mining operation.
  • Preference will be given to individuals with experience operating mine haulage trucks.
  • Manual and remote scoop tram experience is an asset.
  • Previous mine rescue training is also considered an asset.

Working Conditions:

This is a fly-in/fly-out position with a schedule of two weeks on, two weeks off. You will be required to fly in and out of the site on designated days from a pick-up point in either Saskatoon, Prince Albert, or La Ronge.
