Job Summary:

In this role as an Electrical Assembler, you will be part of a dynamic production team responsible for the assembly, testing, and repair of a wide range of electrical and electro-mechanical products. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with our project leads and supervisors to ensure the highest quality standards are met.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Participate in the safe and efficient assembly, build, repair, and testing of electrical and electro-mechanical products using standard and non-standard tools, equipment, and procedures.
  • Perform electrical and electronics installation, repair, and troubleshooting using drawings, schematics, and knowledge of applicable codes and safety regulations.
  • Develop and maintain a strong understanding of mechanical and hydraulic systems, including pumps, valves, and hosing systems.
  • Read and interpret equipment assembly specifications, including charts, schematics, blueprints, and typed instructions.
  • Collaborate with team members to resolve technical issues and improve production processes.
  • Participate in regular shop and yard organization and cleanliness exercises.
  • Train new employees in assembly operations and provide guidance and support as needed.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation of work completed.
  • Demonstrate the ability to work independently or as part of a team on complex projects requiring judgment and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarize yourself with operation controls, including safe working practices and job hazard analysis.
  • Adhere to all applicable company and corporate policies, procedures, and programs.
  • Assist with shop maintenance requirements and supply your own tools, with a minimum recommendation list available.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience or equivalent knowledge in electronics, electrical code, safety practices, electrical blueprint and schematic reading, and/or oilfield experience in maintenance and repair.
  • Ability to work with a diverse group of employees and departments.
Work Environment:

This role will be based in a shop environment, warehouse, and working indoors and outdoors. You may be exposed to dust, fumes, or gases and changes in temperature and humidity. Physical requirements include squatting, bending, lifting, standing, sitting, walking, kneeling, reaching, twisting, crawling, climbing, ladder work, and working near moving equipment.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • First Aid, forklift, and overhead crane training beneficial.
  • Required to wear steel toe boots, safety glasses or side shields, hard hat, and ear protection.
