Job Description

Join Our Team

We're seeking a skilled Bar Back to join our team. As a key team player, you'll collaborate closely with the rest of the bar team, learning our sought-after systems and procedures. You'll bring a professional, enthusiastic work ethic each day, contributing to setting our restaurants apart and creating a rave-worthy guest experience.

The Day-to-Day

  • You'll be a strong communicator, conducting yourself in a respectful manner with Servers, Hosts, and Bartenders.
  • You'll have a sense of urgency, completing tasks quickly with ease.
  • You'll be tuned in to the space you work in, contributing to the overall cleanliness and organization.
  • You'll learn and carry out the proper opening and closing procedures of the bar.
  • You'll be able to multitask and assist the team with polishing and organizing glassware.
  • You'll be proactive, regularly checking and maintaining beer keg and liquor levels.
  • You'll assist with the FOH team with food running and interact with guests with enthusiasm.
  • Other duties as assigned or required.

Qualifications

  • SmartServe Certified
  • Prior experience is desirable
  • Enrolled or completed a Hospitality, Food & Beverage, and/or Special Events Program is an asset
  • High attention to detail
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure while working in a fast-paced environment
  • Organizational skills
  • Ability to take direction and prioritize
  • Strong oral communication skills
  • High level of product knowledge
  • Ability to maintain a level of professional urgency
