About the Role

Total Care is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Home Support Worker to join our team. As a Home Support Worker, you will provide personalized care and support to clients in their own homes, promoting their independence and well-being.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer bedside and personal care to clients, ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met.
  • Assist clients with bathing, dressing, and other aspects of personal hygiene.
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals, promoting healthy eating habits.
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, maintaining a safe and comfortable living environment.
  • Provide companionship and social support, helping clients stay connected with their community.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Ability to work in a rural area and in clients' homes.
  • Physically demanding role, requiring a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
  • Dependability, efficient interpersonal skills, flexibility, and reliability are essential.
